Atlas watched in a mix of terror and excitement as the two began their fight. It was like Zeus and Cronus going at it on the roof of a quiznos. He didn't know which was which, but the fight didn't seem to be going on for too long. He had shot a bolt at the warrior woman of Troy, and the woman had blocked it like it was nothing. Then, when old dude tried to get a drop on her, she managed to ram her shield back down on his hand with it so fast that the Captain let out an audible yell, and Selibas was able to hear the bones snapping in the man's forearm. Jesus Christ.
Captain Star screamed at the top of his lungs, and he grabbed his forearm, and in the span of seconds he was floating above the fallen Vigilante and the Foreign ambassador. Looking down at her, he spat his words at the end of her little speech. "Your citizens aren't the ones being abused by that maniac. I'll deal with him, that's why I can do what I do, is to protect my people from animals like him. You want to grandstand? You standing in my way is just evidence that you're on his side."
With that, the gray clad man began hurling rapid fire bolts of the same energy, with a bolt from his limp left hand being followed almost immediately with one from his right. He didn't show any signs of stopping. Now was a good time for Atlas to start to move. He didn't know how long the stunning thing was supposed to last, but maybe his healing factor had shortened the duration that it could be used. So, after the stunning affect had left him catatonic for long enough that he could heal unhindered by movement, and he was almost as good as a slightly used car. He sprung up, and hurried over to the preoccupied Captain. He jumped up, and wrapped his arms around the man's legs, dragging him down. Before they had even touched the ground, a bolt hit Atlas on top of his head, and he fell to the ground. However, he'd preoccupied the man for at least a few seconds.

Gone was Alexis' potential goodwill towards this Captain Star. She had given him ample opportunity to walk away and allow her to take care of Atlas, and yet he responded with hostility and attacks. The soldier raised her shield to block his barrage of energy attacks as her rage grew. She hit her breaking point right as Atlas jumped onto the the man, distracting him. As he struck Atlas with another bolt of energy, Alexis dashed across the room at him, grabbed him by the next and slammed him into the wall.
"I have grown tired of your hubris. I have been protecting the innocent for over three millennia before you were born. Do not speak to me as though you know more than I. As though you are the only one who care for those in a more vulnerable state. You call Atlas an animal? The one acting animalistic is you. You envision yourself a hero as you fight an idiotic youth who is still learning of his abilities. Those are not the actions of a hero."
Lifting Star into the air, still by the throat, Alexis slammed him into the ground and stepped on his throat. "You are nothing if you seem going this way. This is how people become evil. Leave here and take a serious look at yourself. This is your final warning. If you keep down this path and we meet again, I will put you in the ground. I have fought in wars that your world believes to be myth because they were so extravagant. I fought Achilles. Ajax. Odysseus. I have sparred with the God of War himself. You are nothing. I can end you without a second thought. And I will, if you do not straighten yourself out." She took her foot off his throat and kicked him over to the hole he had made. "Go."

With his good hand, the captain clawed at the arm of the woman that held his throat. However, he was nowhere near breaking free of her death like grip by the time she slammed him into the floor. He was helpless as her foot pressed on his throat and she began her speech. When she kicked him away, he finally listened, and flew off like a wounded dog, going who knows where to lick his wounds.
Ajax trailed him with his eyes, then shot them over to where Alexis stood. With the effort he imagined it took for a mother to lift a car off a baby, he forced his jaw open, and said to the woman, "You f****d dude up." That seemed to do the trick, he still felt like movement was impossible, but that was more a feeling than a truth. Instead of being paralyzed, he was swimming through jello. It was like he'd adapted, like with the first bolt, his body had risen to the challenge, and his body was able to recover much quicker. He rolled himself onto his back, and lifted his arms into the air with an effort, balling his hands into fists. "An' I helped! We did a team up!"
Then he let his arms fall back. He felt dizzy, like the stunning had slowed his brain down. Maybe it was a trade off, his body was recovering but it made him feel all loopy. "Alexis Ajax Team-Up!"

Alexis watched as the Captain finally heeded her advice and flew away. She had a feeling this would not be the last time she saw him, and that next time there would be no attempt at small talk. She didn't wish to kill him, but she would if it came down to it. He was dangerous, not matter what he claimed.
She looked over to Atlas as she heard him rambling. She actually facepalmed. She hadn't done that in close to 200 years, but Atlas had driven her to it. Walking across the room towards and knelt down next to him. Alexis rested her hand on his chest and her armor began to glow. Atlas' body was covered in the same light before it faded away and the damage done to him by Star was no more. Getting back to her feet, she looked down at the boy. "We did not do a team up. I stopped you from getting killed and you did your best to get killed regardless. I would not have had to heal you as much as I did if you have just let me handle the fight by myself."

"Nuh-uh. We totally did a team up." Alexis did the whole healing thing again, and the green clad teenager rolled onto his chest then popped up to his feet, and stretched his arms. He then pressed his hands against his back and pushed, bending back against them. "Thanks!"
Looking at her, Atlas cocked his head to the side. I mean, I think I helped. I'm sure you coulda handled him, but me jumping on him took his focus off you long enough for you to get the jump on him." Atlas tensed up, and his eyes widened behind their black visor, goggle, things. He'd used his real name by accident. Luckily she hadn't seemed to notice.
"So, is that the hardest fight you've had in a while? Was he tougher than ol' wily Odysseuss? I bet he wasn't."

Alexis stared down the boy. The way he was acting, he'd be lucky to survive until next year. "Yes, you jumping on him distracted him. You also could have gotten yourself unnecessarily killed by doing so. It was foolish and unneeded. You have been given gifts, Atlas, though I know not for what reason. It would be... unfortunate if you were to get yourself killed before you were able to do much with them." It wouldn't be the first time she would see wasted potential, and she was sure it wouldn't be the last. Look at Star. There was clearly something off there, but if he kept in on the straight and narrow, he could help a lot of people.
Admittedly, the warrior had to fight to keep a smile down when she asked about her fights. Every warrior liked to boast of their past deeds. "No, the Nemean Lion was far tougher, figuratively and metaphorically. Odysseus was a better fighter than any of your stories would make you believe. Achilles and Ajax were stronger, but he was the third best fighter they had."

"Awwww man, that's so cool. I can't believe this, I missed a report I was supposed to do on Troy, and now I'm talking to somebody who's from there! This is the craziest thing that's happened to me since I got my powers, and I've fought a dude with a Jetpack, and a massive crazy dude who threw a big globe at some people." The young man stretched his back, placing his hands on his hips and bending back.
He looked up at her again, and said, "Ya know, I don't think you'll believe me, but I'm not doing bad stuff. I broke a cops gun, but that was just cuz he was shooting at a little girl who'd turned into a polar bear. And like, I don't know, people have been scared of me since the first day I tried to use my powers, and I guess that makes sense, but I've only done stuff trying to stop people from getting hurt, and just... I don't know. I don't want people to be afraid of me, but every time I'm on the news it's always people saying I was working with the guy who stole some battery, or that the government had their super soldiery guy under control and that me fighting him was a sign that I'm a bad guy. I guess I mean that you feel like the Iliad didn't portray you guys right, and I get that."
He scratched his jaw through the mask on his face. "Thanks for helping me with that guy, I couldn't have dome much against him. If he took me in, it would be tough for the people who care about me."
